I absolutely love The Villas! The breathtaking lake views are a major highlight. The owners are friendly and helpful. The amenities, such as free paddle boards, canoes, and kayaks, are fantastic. The pool is also great, and the kitchen in the villas is well-equipped. The hot water bathtub is a nice touch. I will definitely be staying here again.
Felt really good, no complaints at all!

very old rooms, needs updating, dreaded going to bed actually , the rooms are not very nice. The lake front was nice to walk to but even the chairs to sit in were broken and uncomfortable, i would not stay here again unfortunately didnt look like too many nice places to stay, except for the 340 a night ones....

the owners were very friendly and accomodating. They didn't have my reservation from Booked.net from 2 weeks earlier but went out of his way to arrange an upgrade room for me and my family at no extra charge.

Lovely location away from the crowds, close to Bolton Village. Older property with clean, comfortable rooms. Shared docks, pool, and access to the lake. Family-run operation with attentive and friendly staff. Lots of activities available, including boat rentals, BBQs, and kayaking.

Owners & staff very friendly & accommodating . Pool was great. Location was terrific. Would definately go back again!! Loved it !!
Our room # 37 did not have a microwave which would have been helpful .the kitchen was not stocked with enough pots, pans & usual kitchen needs. Bed was very comfortable!! That was great !! Thanks for a great & memorable first time visiting lake george!! :)))

It's on the water and the staff who checked us in and out was very friendly.
The word RESORT is a misrepresentation...there is nothing resort like about it. It's old and needs serious updating. The bed was loud, creaky and felt like a water bed.

We had a great value for our money at this hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the location right on the lake was perfect. The staff at the Villas On Lake George were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
The morning meal could have been improved with more variety of options.

Thunderbird was built in the 50s or early 60s and never had a remodel or facelift. Old and tired furnishings. No electric outlet in the bathroom, no available outlets in the room to charge a cell phone. Our window was missing 4 panes of glass, so room could not be locked securely. A large dresser placed in front of the window was meant to disguise this lack of maintenence. No smoke alarm was visible, no seating of any kind in the room, just the bed. To be fair, we stayed in the "motel" part. There are also multi room cottages and a larger lakefront house on the property. The experience there might be different, but I won't go back to try it.

The location and price. the bed was reasonably comfy.
Lamps were falling apart and dangerous, lighting in the room was horrible, sink would not turn off totally, air conditioner was underpowered and extremely noisy, hanging space was very limited and not especially clean. TV was so low that it could not easily be watched from the bed which was the only place to sit. when I went to check out the office was closed and locked. There was no answer on the phone and no way to contact anyone.

The location was terrific. The room was clean.
Disorganized front office, cheap, cheesy - has so much potential, but needs serious maintenance. Too much $$ - expected "resort" quality - instead got "dumpy". Seems like the owners don't really care - maybe in over their heads...wasted $400 for two sleepless nights.

Owner and staff very friendly and helpful. Location fit my needs.
My wife has asthma, room was very musty and moldy. Units need updating. She had to use inhaler frequently and had very little sleep. Used paper plates left under one bed(floor). Bathroom waste basket not empty and had used feminine hygiene products in waste basket. I would recommend this facility to others but would advise them of the above conditions. As well as being a little high in price because of the conditions. Because the owner was very friendly and helpful is the only reason I would recommend this facility.

The location of the hotel is a major advantage, as it is situated only 5 miles away from the city, offering a peaceful and tranquil stay. Guests can enjoy the proximity to Lake George, which provides a beautiful natural view. The staff at the hotel are friendly and helpful, providing a pleasant and enjoyable experience for guests.
Some guests have mentioned that the parking can be challenging due to boats taking up spots.
